Our client, who is a successful and growing print and design company, is looking for an enthusiastic, professional and motivated individual to join their team based in Kintore, Aberdeenshire as an Office & Production Administrator. It is great for someone who wants to develop their experience in the industry and contribute to a successful and growing Print & Design Company. The ideal candidate will be organised, punctual, diligent, committed and a conscientious team player who is computer literate with a willingness to learn. Eager to assist, having a keen eye for detail, being sensitive to customer satisfaction, with a positive outlook.
Your training will be primarily undertaken by a member of the Production team. So being someone who is quick to learn new processes, with a keen interest in the Print Production process is essential. You will be keen to present yourself as a valuable member of the team and will go the ‘extra mile’ to ensure clients’ expectations are successfully fulfilled.
Your role will be to build relationships both over the phone, Teams/Zoom and through some face-to-face meetings as restrictions allow for it. As an Office & Production Administrator, your primary role will be to:
- Ability to take instructions and work as a part of a team
- Deal with customer enquiries
- Speak to customers via telephone and offer specific advice on products and send them quotes/invoices.
- Assisting with all aspects of print production.
- Liaising with the team to plan overall production activity.
- Inform customers in advance of delivery to highlight problems and indicate approximate delivery time.
- Assist in booking and scheduling work for the workshop.
- Assisting with production to ensure that orders are completed to an agreed date and conform to customer requirements.
- Assisting with multiple print projects at one time with varying needs and timescales.
- Assisting team by ensuring all production targets of the Company are met.
- Carry out office administration including filing, photocopying, posting duties & office stationery.
- Maintain and build relations with new and existing clients.
- Comply with relevant legislation and company policy and procedures (H&S, HR, business controls)
- Demonstrate flexibility and team-working in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall business willing to go the extra mile for clients and the company.
- Ad hoc duties as and when required to meet business needs across the organisation.
Your training will start with a 6-12 months Digital Application Support Modern Apprenticeship, which consists of learning on the job, as well as our custom-built E-Learning platform. You will develop all the skills you need to pass your work-based assessments. Our assessors are available to provide one-to-one support and will work with your line manager to ensure you settle into your new role.
You will gain a Diploma in Digital Application Support, which is a Nationally recognised qualification and may be used to gain employment and further your career in administration
***Please note all candidates must be 16-24 due to government apprenticeship funding and must be able to easily commute to Kintore, Aberdeenshire every weekday. We welcome applicants from aged 16-29 if you are care experienced or a person with a physical disability, learning difficulty, mental health difficulty, social / communication impairment, or long-standing health issue***

- Hours (Full-time, Monday to Friday)
- 28 days holiday pro rata for Apprentice role
- Pay – £6 per hour (willing to discuss with the employer)
