Our client, who is a successful and growing print and design company, is looking for an enthusiastic, professional and motivated individual to join their team based in Kintore, Aberdeenshire as a Production Administrator Modern Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to learn and kickstart their career in administration.


  • Deal with customer enquiries
  • Speak to customers via telephone and offer specific advice on products and send them quotes/invoices.
  • Assisting with all aspects of the print production from planning through to delivery.
  • Liaising with team to plan overall production activity, setting quality standards and timescales.
  • Support the managing and monitoring of timelines and deadlines, agreeing realistic client expectations.
  • Continuously improve customer service.
  • Carry out refunds accurately in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Inform customers in advance of delivery to highlight problems and indicate approximate delivery time
  • Assist in booking and scheduling work into the workshop.
  • Assisting with production to ensure that orders are completed to an agreed date and conform to customer requirements.
  • Assisting office Supervisor with production and production costs and undertaking or arranging for the preparation of reports and records.
  • Assisting with multiple print projects at one time with varying needs and timescale.
  • Assisting team by ensuring all production targets of the Company are met.
  • Developing a strong supplier base rapport to meet quality and cost criteria.
  • Carry out office administration including : filing, photocopying, posting duties & office stationery.
  • Maintain and build relations with new and existing clients.
  • Comply with relevant legislation and company policy and procedures (H&S, HR, business controls).
  • Demonstrate flexibility and team-working in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the overall business willing to go the extra mile for clients and company.
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required to meet business needs in print production.


  • Keen interest in Print Production processes is essential.
  • Ability to take instructions and work as a part of a team.
  • Well organised and committed.
  • Computer literate with a willingness to learn.
  • Professional and friendly attitude.
  • Eager to assist and become a valuable member of the team and will go the ‘extra mile’ to ensure clients’ expectations are successfully fulfilled.

Your training will start with a 6-12 months Digital Application Support Modern Apprenticeship, which consists of learning on the job, as well as our custom-built E-Learning platform. You will develop all the skills you need to pass your work-based assessments. Our assessors are available to provide one-to-one support and will work with your line manager to ensure you settle into your new role.

You will gain a Diploma in Digital Application Support, which is a Nationally recognised qualification and may be used to gain employment and further your career in administration.

***Please note all candidates must be 16-24 due to government apprenticeship funding and must be able to easily commute to Kintore, Aberdeenshire every weekday. We welcome applicants from aged 16-29 if you are care experienced or a person with a physical disability, learning difficulty, mental health difficulty, social / communication impairment, or long-standing health issue***

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Salary: £6.00 per hour
