Kickstart Scheme:

We have funding for successful participants
Get in touch to see how we can support you.

What is the Kickstart Scheme?

The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to employers to create new 6-month job placements for young people who are currently on Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.

Unfortunately, Kickstart Scheme participants cannot also undertake an apprenticeship. The good news is that Sixth Sense will be happy to enrol participants who have successfully finished their Kickstart position and been offered a permanent role within their organisation.

Young People

If it’s a Kickstart position that you’re after, your DWP job coach will help you apply for one.

If you’re interested in an apprenticeship, head over to our Jobs section and apply for any opportunities you feel well suited to.

In the meantime, why not apply for one of our short courses to help build on your CV?

“Working with Sixth Sense in partnership has definitely enhanced Scott’s opportunities for the future.”
