Shaping the Future with this Year’s #ScotCareersWeek

This November, we are looking forward to supporting the first-ever Scottish Careers Week by showcasing our apprenticeship qualifications, opportunities, advice and much more.

Scottish Careers Week, introduced by Skills Development Scotland and in partnership with the Young Person’s Guarantee and Developing the Young Workforce (DYW), is a national social media campaign and has been created to showcase the variety of career paths and opportunities that are available to support people of all ages and shape the future of the Scottish workforce. As we continue recovering from the coronavirus pandemic, we have all had to adapt to change and the #ScotCareersWeek campaign aims to assist individuals to understand and explore their career options and provide insightful information on the support available, like the Young Person Guarantee.

Jamie Hepburn, who is the ‘Minister for Youth Employment and Training, said “Campaigns like Scottish Careers Week are vital to help people of all ages understand the fantastic support that’s available through a wide range of local and national partners.”

Scottish Careers Week will take place 15th-19th November and we cannot wait to support this fantastic campaign. Keep an eye on our social media pages to gain insight into our range of apprenticeship programmes and training opportunities and learn how you can kickstart your career.
